These soup recipes are quick and easy to prepare. You don’t have to cook them in a pot as they can be heated right in the blender. This is due to the heat produced by the turning of the blades at high speeds. Making soup in a blender allows for moderate heating while keeping the valuable enzymes. Tip: You can use hot water instead of cold to speed up the heating process.
Ingredients
2 fresh tomatoes
1 clove garlic
4-5 leaves fresh basil (or 1 tbsp. dried basil)
¼ avocado
½ cup water (hot or cold)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Quarter the tomatoes and place in container.
Add garlic and basil.
Blend for 4 minutes on manual high (less time if using hot water).
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add water for desired consistency.
Pour into a bowl and enjoy!
Notes
The fresh basil is amazing and adds a unique flavor to the soup. The avocado gives it a smooth consistency.
